Description
Mice in the Drive letterhead Pencil c. 1935
Dunbar’s letters were frequently and appealingly illustrated. Here she turns her drawing of mouse-
children playing in the drive of a country house into a letterhead perhaps intended for friends’
children (she had none herself), with whom she enjoyed corresponding.
