Margaret Goodwin (later Iliffe) was a fellow student at the Royal College of Art who became a close and lifelong friend of Dunbar. A Leicestershire woman, she had the same Christian Science background as Dunbar. The roughly-sketched urn to her right may suggest her marked liking for tea, but this is far from certain.
